Job Summary
Project Manager at Dematic to oversee large-scale projects with significant complexity, cost, and schedule constraints, including directing project teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing scope, schedule, and budget. Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, forecasting profitability and monthly costs for revenue recognition, and ensuring timely invoicing. Leads pre-sales solution development and customer-facing activities, develops the customer business case and proposals, and coordinates with owners and general contractors. Requires a Bachelor's in Business or Engineering (preferred), 3-5 years in the material handling industry, strong PM and leadership capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects. The role involves 50%+ travel within the United States and may involve in-office work in Plano, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in material handling industry
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong Project Management background
- Team leadership and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects
- Ability to develop detailed project schedules inclusive of all in-scope engineering, installation, and integration schedule activities
- Ability to analyze project profitability forecasts and manage costs
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles used in project execution
- Experience with pre-sales efforts and solution development
