Job Summary
Lead the Warm Homes Programme and Net Zero initiatives across 1,800+ properties, delivering energy efficiency improvements, capital works, and retrofits to time, quality, and budget. Manage budgets, lead procurement, and coordinate internal and external partners while ensuring regulatory compliance with health and safety, CDM, and procurement legislation. Oversee consultants and contractors, develop specifications, and apply asset management knowledge to inform investment planning and manage stock condition databases. Identify funding opportunities for decarbonisation programmes and communicate effectively with residents, stakeholders, and external partners. Based in Leatherhead with hybrid working and regular travel across Surrey and surrounding counties.
Required Qualifications
- Access to suitable transport
- Lead planned investment, capital works, and retrofit projects to time, quality, and budget
- Manage consultants and contractors, ensuring high standards and contract compliance
- Apply strong knowledge of asset management, energy efficiency, and sustainability in social housing
- Use data to inform investment planning and manage stock condition databases
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support decarbonisation and retrofit programmes
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM regulations, and procurement legislation
- Develop specifications and maintain standards across a diverse property portfolio
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, residents, and external stakeholders
- Work independently and make sound decisions
- Complete a Basic DBS check
