Job Summary
Manage daily execution of construction projects, overseeing safety, quality, cost, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. Lead project meetings with owners and design teams, negotiate subcontract agreements, and enforce safety programs through site walks and plan development. Coordinate trade partners on HVAC, plumbing, and controls systems while managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Maintain accurate contract documents, material tracking logs, and financial forecasts to prepare monthly owner invoicing and project status reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent construction experience
- General Contracting experience
- Minimum of four (4) years previous construction experience
- Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction project management, including safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to understand and learn technical systems and processes
- Ability to effectively manage and lead junior team members
- Ability to organize, assess, and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management and scheduling software experience
- Sustainable building experience (such as LEED certified projects)
- Certifications / accreditations (CPR / First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, WELL, ILFI, LEED)
