Job Summary
Lead the construction of data center projects from planning through close-out, administering the safety program and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to meet schedule and scope commitments while overseeing QA/QC practices and site logistics. Conduct daily site walk-throughs, perform constructability reviews, and manage the permit process to deliver projects on time and within budget. Communicate progress to stakeholders and lead preconstruction meetings to align teams on project goals.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate University degree or higher (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field)
- Minimum of five (5) years construction management experience
- Experience in managing trades valued at $50MM
- Experience with large / complex safety plan implementation
- Strong working knowledge of programs such as Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project
- A proven track record of organizing project teams to accomplish project goals
- Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Client
- Experience in managing a project using established methods of cost reporting, i.e. cash flow, safety, cost, schedule, VDC
- Understand contract types and terms, i.e. General Conditions, Burn Rates, Fee Analysis,
- Understand various insurance programs, i.e. SDI, BR policies, OCIP, CCIP
- Must be able to lift items (up to 25 Ibs)
- Tasks may also be carried out in varying weather conditions and environments
Desired Qualifications
- An undergraduate University degree or higher (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field) is preferred
- Other relevant education, training or work experience may substitute for bachelor�s degree
- PMP certified preferred
