Job Summary
Project Manager for Data Center Construction responsible for managing stakeholders (architects, engineers, supply chains), tracking critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips, ensuring project governance and best-practice application, producing formal status reports, monitoring multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied, managing interface among suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews, coordinating project information through meetings and written communications, forecasting milestones, guiding local design teams per commission criteria, providing technical support to owners/architects/general contractors/regional stakeholders, rapidly responding to RFIs, and offering expertise in cost control and value engineering with constructability guidance; role requires on-site presence and collaboration with clients and teams to achieve project objectives and maintain SOX controls where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
- Excellent communication skills
- On-site presence may be required and can change depending on client needs
