Job Summary
Senior Data Center Construction Project Manager responsible for delivering data center construction projects on budget and on time, providing leadership to contractors and vendors, managing project schedules and change orders, preparing project plans and budgets, and reporting on progress. Role emphasizes value-engineering, adherence to Company Design Standards, and maintaining strong client relationships across regional projects; requires experience with budgeting, procurement, and back-office administration, with travel to project sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS a plus
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor
- Experience managing a budget
- 5-10+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Belong and Attend professional organizations such as AFCOM
- ASHRAE
- 7x24 exchange
- PTC
- Datacenterdynamics / DCD
- Uptime
- iMasons
- Bisnow
- Client Facing /Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Travel as needed to project sites
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, P6 Oracle Primavera, AutoCAD a plus
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus
