Job Summary
Lead project financials and contracts on data center construction initiatives; manage subcontractors and suppliers, develop forecasts, set code-based cost allocations, approve invoices, create monthly owner billings, manage contract changes, and maintain schedule and budget while ensuring quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction. Oversee a team of Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, provide clear assignments and career development, act as primary liaison with owners and on-site representatives, review owner agreements, and resolve site concerns. Travel up to 100% and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams; role supports two levels (PM1 and PM2) with corresponding experience requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Six years of construction management or related experience (for PM2) or six years (PM1)
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 100%
- Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate policy
- Active listening and effective communication
