Job Summary
Develop, plan, execute, and monitor turnkey construction projects for high voltage electrical substations, transmission lines, and distribution lines. Manage multiple project teams while ensuring cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion goals are met. Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite materials and prepare cash flows, monthly billing, change orders, and progress reports. Resolve inter-group conflicts and delays to meet construction targets. Travel out of town for short periods and overnight for trainings or meetings as required. Work indoors with occasional outdoor exposure, enduring prolonged periods at a desk.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Professional Registration
- 10 years experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Must be able and willing to travel overnight for trainings and/or meetings as required (10%)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
