Job Summary
Manage end-to-end delivery of projects within the Online eCommerce environment, developing detailed plans, timelines, and roadmaps while defining scope, objectives, and success criteria. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, and external vendors to track progress, mitigate risks via RAID logs, and ensure delivery against agreed standards. Facilitate governance forums, status meetings, and working sessions to prepare reports for senior stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations. Support Agile delivery practices, coordinate testing and deployment activities, and work closely with Product Owners to prioritize deliverables and manage scope changes. Ensure projects achieve intended business and technology outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Project Management
- experience working on digital, eCommerce or customer-facing technology projects
- understanding of the complexities involved in delivering online platforms and digital products
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation through to successful implementation
- Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across different levels of an organisation
- Strong experience in project planning, governance, reporting, risk and dependency management
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery environments
- Experience managing project budgets, resources and delivery schedules
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors and technology partners
- Strong understanding of the software development and technology delivery lifecycle
- Experience delivering projects within complex enterprise environments
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management or a related discipline
- Strong project planning and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong risk, issue and dependency management
- Commercial awareness and financial management skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently while working collaboratively within a broader delivery team
- Results-driven with a strong focus on delivery and accountability
Desired Qualifications
- preferably within technology, digital or eCommerce environments
- Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent
- Scrum/Agile certification
- Retail or eCommerce experience
- Experience working within a large digital commerce environment
- Experience with eCommerce transformation or re-platforming programmes
- Experience delivering customer-facing digital products
- Exposure to cloud migration or cloud-based platforms
- Experience with API/integration projects
- Experience within a large corporate or enterprise environment
- Exposure to areas such as the following: eCommerce platforms and online retail
