Job Summary
Lead quotation, design, procurement, fabrication, and testing of packaged systems for commercial and industrial applications. Manage multiple projects independently, including scheduling via Gantt charts, while supervising construction efforts to ensure adherence to design, quality, and budget. Independently design hydraulic, mechanical, and electric systems, select components, and coordinate purchasing decisions. Work directly with customers, shop, and engineering teams to interpret requirements and formulate solutions. Present proposals and provide technical assistance as needed. Supervise employees and subcontractors to deliver quality products in a fast-paced environment. Requires 5 years of project management experience and proficiency in Inventor or Solidworks.

- Manage multiple projects independently including managing and scheduling (Gantt charts)
- Hold Primary responsibility for purchasing and expediting project components
- Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, quality, and budget
- Mechanical Design
- Mechanical layout (Structural shapes and fabrication methods)
- Hydraulic design and layout including knowledge of fittings and methods
- Pump sizing and selection
- Valve selection (Manual and automated)
- Provide technical assistance or interpretation, when required
- Electrical Design
- Control panel design (Motor starters and control circuits)
- VFD or PLC selection and application
- Controls/Instrumentation/Communication
- Sales - Quoting
- Communicate with customers to determine requirements
- Formulate design to accomplish requirements
- Price components required
- Generate a proposal and present it to the customer
- 3-D CAD Experience
- Inventor or Solidworks competence
- Experience designing piping systems
- Knowledge of different piping systems (threaded and welded)
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced computer and internet skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Desire to produce a quality product
- 2 to 4-year degree or demonstrated experience in the field
- 5 years of project management experience
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks
- Must be able to pass a drug test
