Job Summary
Project Manager to oversee capital improvement, tenant improvement, and campus infrastructure projects from planning through closeout for a nationally recognized private university in Oakland, CA. Responsibilities include planning and managing project schedule, scope, and cost; value engineering for cost savings; coordinating with stakeholders and consultants; developing Project Management Plans and fee budgets/proposals; aligning project goals with client expectations; tracking cost estimates and budget reconciliation; managing permitting processes and ensuring adherence to design standards; and supporting career progression within a dynamic, contractor-led environment. Preferred credentials include CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management
- Experience supporting high education projects
- CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED preferred
