Job Summary
Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost for large-scale commercial projects. Value engineer by identifying savings opportunities and ensuring material substitutions are equal. Manage on-site stakeholders and prepare project management plans, fee budgets, and proposals at project outset. Evaluate documents to communicate client goals to the team, develop action plans, and re-evaluate contract scope to recommend adjustments. Coordinate with the cost management group for estimates, cost studies, actual job reviews, and budget reconciliation. Drive the permitting process by designing documents for local, state, and federal agencies. Ensure design management follows client documents, prepare cost and revenue projections, and perform constructability reviews. Lead design management, procurement, construction, and closeout strategies, including contracts and claim negotiations. Oversee entitlement processes for unoccupied sites and lead project procedures. Work normal business hours in Nashville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
- 6+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management
- Experience working on large scale commercial projects
- Knowledge and experience planning, managing & coordinating all aspects of project, scope and cost for multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and re-evaluate scope throughout the project and recommend adjustments when necessary
- Experience collaborating with cost management group to provide accurate and timely cost estimates, cost studies, actual job reviews, and budget reconciliation
- Ability to exercise creativity and resourcefulness in managing the project effectively in a compressed timeframe
- Utilize effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand how your role contributes to the organization's goals
