Job Summary
The Project Manager will oversee daily project management activities, focusing on the planning, design, and construction for a variety of sports and entertainment facilities. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive project requirements, managing procurement of consultants and contractors, reviewing cost estimates, and supporting project design and construction progress. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related fields, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in both Italian and English.
Required Qualifications
- Solid previous experience in the design, construction or a related services industry
- Familiarity with the WBS, construction change orders and like documents, budget formats, and architectural/engineering plans
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project programme and project agreements
- Professional attitude with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and project management team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to problem solve and master new concepts in a short period of time
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Excel required
- Fluent in Italian and English a necessity
Additional Requirements
- Experience gaining municipal planning and other external stakeholder approvals in Italy an asset
