Job Summary
Project Manager Cost Out Procurement responsible for planning, leading, and implementing global and regional cost-out projects within Procurement, driving systematic identification, analysis, and realization of sustainable cost-reduction across the supply chain; develops project plans with milestones, resource needs and savings targets; leads cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Production); conducts market and supplier analyses, benchmarks, and cost calculations; applies best-cost-country sourcing strategies; evaluates and selects suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and sustainability; analyzes product specs, manufacturing technologies, and material costs; prepares Should-Cost analyses and TCO models; identifies Design-to-Cost opportunities with Engineering; supports process optimization, defines cost-out standards and KPIs; collaborates internationally with global procurement teams and plants; travel internationally; requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years (or 7 years) of relevant experience; rolls-Royce is an Equal Opportunity Employer; location: Mankato, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3 years of experience in Procurement, Cost-Out Management, Value Engineering, or technical project management, or 7 years of experience in Procurement, Cost-Out Management, Value Engineering, or technical project management.
