Job Summary
Negotiate owner-architect agreements on fee, scope, and schedule while evaluating project requirements. Manage multiple projects and client relationships by supervising architectural construction documents, coordinating contractor bids, and developing discipline cost budgets. Lead a full-service architectural and engineering team to deliver quality specifications and reports, providing coaching on workflows and timelines. Oversee correspondence and documents, ensuring accuracy and obtaining necessary signatures. Facilitate sustainable building practices and assist in proposal development and client interviews. Provide day-to-day leadership in the Principal's absence, manage client billings, and cultivate a culture of mentorship with junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect
- 7+ years of professional experience honed on increasingly more complex projects
- Demonstrated skill in working on multiple smaller-sized, challenging projects simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients and lead discussions on project budgets and management of project delivery
- Proficiency with industry accepted software and Microsoft Office products
Desired Qualifications
- LEED Accreditation and/or WELL AP
- Proficiency with Architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup and the Adobe suite
- Experience with Project Management software (Vision, Microsoft Project)
