Job Summary
Project Leader for end-to-end construction projects in heavy civil/industrial settings, balancing field and office responsibilities. Lead scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with field superintendents, shop fabrication, and clients to ensure timely delivery. Drive change orders, takeoffs, submittals, and project startup while maintaining clear communication with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams. Expect hands-on involvement in field and shop coordination, including sequencing, delivery, and problem-solving on-site to keep projects moving and aligned with schedules and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - or equivalent field experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy-civil, industrial, or structural steel construction
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication specs, and contract documents
- Familiarity with API 650, AWWA, ASME, AISC, AWS D1.1
- Proficiency in budget and schedule management
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and owner relationships simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; project scheduling tools (P6, MS Project, or similar) a plus
- Comfortable on active industrial job sites
