Job Summary
Project Manager for construction projects (Residential/Commercial) responsible for issuing tenders and contracts, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with building specifications and bylaws, overseeing health & safety on site, coordinating with owner/clients and subcontractors, and delivering project milestones from pre-construction through occupancy. Responsibilities include resource allocation, progress reporting, stakeholder communications, contract administration, prequalification of subtrades, development and award of contracts, change-order management, permit submissions, and ensuring timely forecasts and financial commitments. Requires ability to read plans/blueprints, strong coordination and leadership skills, proficiency with MS Project and Bluebeam, and a track record of delivering projects on time and to specification. The role may be based in Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan, with in-person work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an engineering degree or CET diploma is preferred
- 3+ years of project management experience is required
- Ability to read plans/blueprints and specifications for building construction
- Strong understanding of contract administration
- Familiarity with MS Project
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam experience is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with subtrades
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Highly organized and efficient with managing deadlines
