Job Summary
Project Leader responsible for overall management of construction jobs, including project setup, buy out, contract execution and compliance, procurement of materials and equipment, daily progress tracking, safety compliance, invoice coding and approval, manpower timesheet approval, sequencing and scheduling, and weekly cost reporting and forecasting. Coordinate with GC/Owner and CSI Operations to secure adequate manpower/resources, manage change orders, and develop basic change order pricing. Requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, with strong knowledge of construction principles and the ability to lead project teams, work on-site, and maintain efficient project controls.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
