Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for overall project leadership across construction initiatives, including project setup, contract execution, safety compliance, and cost reporting. Leads scheduling, quantity/progress tracking, material/equipment procurement, change order issuance/tracking, and coordination with GC/Owner; mentors Project Engineers; ensures timely, accurate reporting and strong communication. Requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineering; strong problem-solving, budgeting, and leadership capabilities; able to operate on-site with exposure to ladders and multi-floor scaffolding.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
