Job Summary
Project Manager leads overall project efforts including setup, buy-out, contract execution, compliance, procurement of materials and equipment, daily progress tracking, safety compliance, invoice approval, manpower timesheet approval, scheduling and sequencing, weekly cost reporting, and overall fiscal responsibility. Responsibilities also include contract/scope review, change-order issuance and tracking, coordination with GC/Owner and CSI Operations, mentoring of Project Engineers, and ensuring effective communication, accurate reporting, and adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Experience leading successful project teams and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to walk job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to develop change orders and pricing
- Proven ability to coordinate with general contractor (GC) and owners
- Mentoring project engineers and developing team capability
- Ability to develop schedules, monitor progress, and control costs
- Experience with invoicing, cost coding, and approval processes
