Job Summary
Project Manager for concrete construction projects responsible for overall project leadership including project setup, buy out, contract execution, compliance, procurement (materials/equipment), scheduling and sequencing, progress and cost reporting, change order issuance/tracking, and coordination with GC/Owner. Develops basic change order pricing, ensures safety compliance, and manages manpower/resources with Operations. Leads project engineers, communicates findings and reports clearly, and maintains project budgets and forecasts while driving cost efficiency. Requires 5+ years of construction/project management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering recommended. Location-focused duties include on-site management in Saint Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
- Experience in project setup, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting
- Ability to lead project teams and develop relationships with external entities
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with scheduling, critical path analysis, and progress tracking
- Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and work on multi-floor scaffolding
- Mentoring and developing engineers or junior staff
- Commitment to safety compliance and quality control
