Job Summary
Manage education projects from beginning to end, handling client interaction, proposal writing, budget and schedule management, and team coordination. Coordinate support staff and consultants to execute design concepts and quality control while managing a variety of tasks including design, production, and construction administration. Lead primary client relationships with Principal and Sr. Designers to achieve client goals, requiring 8+ years of professional design experience and 3+ years in project management. Some travel will be required.

- Strong understanding of design, space planning, spatial relationships and materials

- Manage support staff and consultants to produce and execute extraordinary work
- Responsible for client interaction, proposal writing, budget and schedule management, team coordination, consultant coordination and quality control
- Work includes a variety of tasks including some design, production and construction administration responsibilities
- Some travel will be required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university
- 8+ years of professional design experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- An emphasis on California schools and higher education projects involving DSA required
- Strong organization, communication and presentation skills are a must
Desired Qualifications
- CA Architectural license preferred or on registration track
- Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with understanding of multiple project typologies
- Proficiency in Revit; SketchUp, and programs used to prepare presentation documents such as PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
