Job Summary
Project Manager / Commercial Sales lead with logistics and warehousing focus in Chicago. Drives sales and end-to-end project delivery from initial opportunity through execution, coordinating with operations, warehousing, transportation, and installation teams. Negotiates and closes deals, manages budgets and timelines, and maintains client relationships through project lifecycle. Responsibilities include market research, prospecting, developing customized logistics and project solutions (FF&E/OS&E, warehousing, transportation, labor, installation, final mile, white glove services), cross-functional collaboration, pricing strategy, reporting, and pipeline management. Requires 3–5+ years in commercial sales or logistics, strong communication and negotiation skills, CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), and the ability to travel 95%.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial sales, logistics, warehousing, or moving industry
- Must be in the Chicago Area
- Experience managing projects, timelines, and cross-functional teams
- Proven success in new business development and client retention
- Strong understanding of FF&E/OS&E, logistics, and installation services preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen with understanding of P&L and pricing strategies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized
- Travel: 95%
- College degree preferred
