Job Summary
Oversee concrete construction efforts to ensure projects meet design, budget, and schedule requirements while collaborating with superintendents, foremen, trades, and client representatives. Administer the project safety program by conducting monthly site audits, reviewing documentation, and leading safety meetings to foster a "safety first" culture. Independently develop project engineers, interpret drawings, and provide constructability feedback during preconstruction and construction phases. Manage scheduling commitments, coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors, and maintain accurate project and sub-schedules. Review and approve purchase orders and pay requests while monitoring design details for cost and constructability. Establish and reinforce company standards to ensure field operations align with prime agreement requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
- Software: Bluebeam, Procore, Outbuild, Primavera, Vista
- Self-Perform Concrete Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer
- Strong grasp of all building construction trades
- Skilled in Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling
- Strong ability in cost projecting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
- Safety standards knowledge including OSHA 30 or greater
- Self-starter with the ability to set and ensure goals and tasks with strong leadership goals
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
