Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget, and timelines. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to review plans, prepare scopes of work, and coordinate procurement of materials and services. Monitor progress, review on-site activities for safety compliance, and lead meetings to facilitate communication among stakeholders. Manage project budgets and financials, including tracking expenses and approving invoices, while developing and facilitating RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Mentor team members and ensure all documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements are maintained. Requires full-time salary with potential weekend/shift work; travel within Sacramento Valley region required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry
- Proficient knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable by the Company's insurance carrier
- Must be able to travel based on jobsite locations within the surrounding Sacramento Valley Region
- Must pass background check and drug testing
