Job Summary
Oversee project delivery for Contract and IS Delivery Projects, managing financial aspects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, quality outcomes meeting company commitments. Maintain a secure work environment through site planning, safety plan reviews, JHA approvals, toolbox talks, and site walks with the Lead Construction Manager. Coordinate Guaranteed Maximum Price, Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement contracts while preparing vendor purchase orders and subcontracts. Establish project Job Management Systems, baseline schedules, and quality assurance plans, then lead change management processes for RFIs and drawing revisions. Prepare monthly cost reviews and payment applications, manage risk logs, and develop Assistant Project Managers. Participate in hand-off meetings, industry organizations, and community events to promote company goals. Requires a degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience, with 25-40% travel to job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience and 3+ years of experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates emerging leadership skills and has the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Manages outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations
- Ability to multitask and willing to perform additional duties as necessary
- 25-40% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
- Climbing stairs
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
- Noisy environment
- Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds
