Job Summary
Project Manager role overseeing electrical construction projects from initiation through closeout. Responsibilities include mentoring other PMs, leading field teams, coordinating with executive/operations, managing budgets, procurement, scheduling (pull planning), document control, change management, customer communications, and ensuring financial targets and quality standards are met. Requires leadership, client service excellence, and proficiency with scheduling and estimating tools (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AccuBid) to drive project success and risk mitigation. Must manage multiple projects, maintain schedules, oversee procurement and subcontracting, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across project teams and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial
- Knowledge in Electrical Project Management, NEC, OSHA, and Safety Codes/Practices
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to meet project needs
- Experienced with Construction Scheduling Software; Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Experienced with AccuBid Estimating Software preferred
- Experience with remote project management preferred
- Strong overall computer skills with standard business software
