Job Summary
Manage projects valued at $15 million or more through the pre-construction, construction, and occupancy phases, developing and monitoring budgets and schedules while providing quality assurance. Evaluate proposed modifications and change orders, utilizing current electronic project management software to prepare regular reports and present to senior management. Work closely with project owners, including experience managing projects for Federal agencies and meeting LEED and SITE criteria. The role requires ten years of experience managing design and construction of new or renovated buildings, with a preference for candidates who have worked in remote locations.
Required Qualifications
- at least ten years' experience managing the design and construction of new or renovated buildings
- Managing projects with values of at least $15 million
- Developing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and schedules
- Providing quality assurance during design and construction
- Evaluating proposed modifications and change orders
- Utilizing current electronic project management software
- Working closely with the project owner to successfully manage projects, including preparing regular reports and making presentations to senior management
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience managing projects for one or more Federal agencies
- Experience managing projects that involved meeting LEED and SITE criteria
- Experience working in remote locations
