Job Summary
Develop foundational knowledge of curtainwall and glazing systems across design, engineering, mock-up, fabrication, and installation phases. Assist with post-sale design development, schedule updates, documentation management, and vendor communications. Observe field installation, QA/QC processes, and safety walks while tracking deliveries, labor, and on-site troubleshooting. Support RFP processes, take-offs, cost controls, monthly billing, and change order management under supervision. Maintain logs, manage submittal tracking, and interface with general contractors and suppliers. This role requires regular travel to project sites, fabrication facilities, and mock-up events, with frequency varying based on project needs. Candidates must be comfortable working both in the field and in office settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- 5-7 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- At least five years of relevant construction experience is preferred, ideally with exposure to the building envelope systems
