Job Summary
Lead civil/site development and municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction, serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Manage project financial performance, oversee design delivery, and direct teams in developing civil plans, grading, drainage, and stormwater solutions. Establish schedules and deliverables while monitoring progress against objectives, and lead the permitting and approval process by coordinating with agencies. Manage and oversee $500k–$1M+ in annual revenue, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and cost tracking. Book a minimum of $250k of revenue annually and conduct weekly staffing assessments to delegate tasks to engineers and technicians. Represent the firm professionally through client interactions and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required)
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive civil/site design or municipal infrastructure experience
- Mastery of Project Engineer responsibilities and demonstrated project leadership experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools
- Expertise in grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site engineering standards
- Working knowledge of DOT, local municipal codes, and permitting requirements
- Ability to review, approve, and provide direction on design documents and technical analyses
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality
