Job Summary
Manage client relationships by identifying extension and new project opportunities, coordinating trade show attendance, and securing projects through proposal preparation and sub-consultant selection. Develop project work plans, budgets, and schedules while establishing QA/QC processes, monitoring job cost data weekly, and initiating monthly billing to ensure timely receivables collection. Evaluate project viability using the GO/NO GO Matrix, review contracts for risk management, and submit change orders promptly. Maintain project files per retention policy and recommend corrective steps for billing or productivity issues.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Site Engineering and Land Development
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- New Jersey PE License
- experience testifying before municipal Boards as an expert witness on behalf of clients to advance project approvals
- high level of business acumen
- successful track record of cross-selling multi-discipline services
- business culture within the project team that is fully consistent with the business culture desired by the Board of Directors
- high awareness of Risk Management issues and practices
- successful track record of avoiding claims and disputes with clients and/or owners
