Job Summary
Lead civil/site development and municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction, serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Manage project financial performance, oversee design delivery, and lead permitting and approval processes while establishing schedules, budgets, and milestones. Demonstrate technical mastery by directing design teams on civil plans, grading, drainage, and utilities, and oversee QA/QC efforts to deliver high-quality packages. Manage $500k–$1M+ in annual revenue, conduct weekly staffing assessments, and coordinate with agencies for public hearings and regulatory compliance. Book a minimum of $250k of annual revenue and collaborate with leadership on accounts receivable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required)
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive civil/site design or municipal infrastructure experience
- Mastery of Project Engineer responsibilities and demonstrated project leadership experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools
- Expertise in grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site engineering standards
- Working knowledge of DOT, local municipal codes, and permitting requirements
- Ability to review, approve, and provide direction on design documents and technical analyses
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality
