Job Summary
Lead civil/site development and municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction, managing $500k–$1M+ in annual revenue while overseeing design delivery, permitting, and approval processes. Establish project schedules, budgets, and milestones, then delegate tasks to Staff Engineers and Technicians while conducting weekly staffing assessments. Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships and expectations through internal and external stakeholder communication. Demonstrate technical mastery by leading design teams on civil plans, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management, and oversee QA/QC efforts to deliver high-quality packages. Manage project financial performance, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and cost tracking, while pursuing new business development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required)
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive civil/site design or municipal infrastructure experience
- Mastery of Project Engineer responsibilities and demonstrated project leadership experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools
- Expertise in grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site engineering standards
- Working knowledge of DOT, local municipal codes, and permitting requirements
- Ability to review, approve, and provide direction on design documents and technical analyses
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality
