Job Summary
Work directly with condominium, multi-family, and single-family Community Association Managers and Boards to perform on-site field investigations for take-offs and building evaluations. Develop 30-year capital reserve plans detailing life expectancy and maintenance costs, then meet with associations to review final reserve studies and answer questions. Manage additional services including construction administration for roof, facade, and paving projects, as well as commercial due diligence inspections like PCAs and Phase 1 Environmental Assessments. Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and engineers while performing inspections on ladders and roofs as needed. Requires a PE license, five years of engineering experience, and routine travel within the region.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within six months
- Minimum five (5) years of related civil or structural engineering or construction experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil, construction, architectural, or related engineering from an accredited engineering program
- Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb and balance
- Willing to perform inspections in on ladders and roofs as needed
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
