Job Summary

Lead and coordinate project activities across PMO teams, establishing clear plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with CIO priorities. Direct financial and administrative functions including budgeting, cost tracking, and resource planning. Evaluate existing processes, prepare structured reports with findings and recommended improvements, and develop project artifacts such as work breakdown structures and schedules. Interpret project metrics, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback to assess performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement. Support change management activities including stakeholder communication, training coordination, and adoption planning. Prepare polished, executive-ready briefings and status updates for PMO leadership and CIO-level audiences. Provide daily direction and coordination to project staff, ensuring alignment, accountability, and consistent progress across multiple concurrent efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • PMP, CAPM, PMI‐ACP Project management certification
  • SAFe, CSM or equivalent agile certification
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust)
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Hybrid work arrangement (2 days a week on client site)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience developing project plans, WBS structures, schedules, and analytical artifacts
  • Proven ability to interpret KPIs, metrics, and feedback to drive improvements
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to produce polished, executive‐level briefings
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and maintain clarity in dynamic environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and customer‐focused approach
  • Experience coordinating cross‐functional technical teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience supporting federal PMOs or CIO‐level initiatives
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms
