Job Summary

Lead high-performance teams through supervision, training, and mentoring while communicating with owners, architects, and subcontractors on project risks, timetables, and budgets. Define scope of work, establish work plans, and manage the CM bid process including post-bid reviews. Coordinate project planning services, process information documents, and establish subcontract agreements for all trade contractors. Drive safety awareness by observing practices on site and coordinating corrective actions for violations. Contribute to business development by leveraging client relationships to identify opportunities and participate in pursuit interviews. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with five years of commercial construction leadership experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related job field
  • Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role reflecting progressive leadership responsibilities
  • Successful completion of classes or other training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication
  • Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
  • Ability to interact with and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including internal and external customers, in different situations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to plan, schedule, and organize tasks while completing work within established deadlines
  • Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions, and keep commitments
  • Must have excellent written and oral skills
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Have a passion for team-based planning and problem-solving
  • Have a wholehearted commitment to building strong partnerships to support project goals
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug and background screening
