Job Summary
Lead electronic security system projects supporting U.S. Government contracts, overseeing installation, integration, testing, and maintenance for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection technologies. Serve as the primary Government point of contact, ensuring contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and successful delivery through technical oversight and proactive communication. Manage project timelines, staffing, subcontractors, and resource allocation while monitoring performance, budgets, and schedules to meet operational and financial targets. Oversee quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet federal, state, and local regulations and contract requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and on-site personnel, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Provide regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders. This contingent role requires a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience managing government security programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of project management experience supporting electronic security systems or government security programs
- Demonstrated experience managing access control, CCTV, alarm systems, or integrated security technologies
- Experience managing government or federally funded contracts
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and oversee project execution from start to finish
- Strong understanding of system design, installation, testing, and lifecycle support
- Understanding of relevant industry standards and federal security regulations
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into actionable plans
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent
