Job Summary
Develop, implement, and evaluate new programs, services, workflows, and business processes to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while leading structured project plans that define scope, goals, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resource needs, and success measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation including charters, status reports, budget trackers, and risk registers within approved systems. Monitor progress by identifying barriers and risks, developing mitigation plans, and escalating issues appropriately. Track post-implementation performance and outcomes to support continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making. Prepare updates, presentations, and dashboards to communicate progress to stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among internal teams and external partners while facilitating meetings with clear agendas and documented decisions. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure project decisions align with compliance, clinical, medical, operational, financial, technology, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects, programs, strategic initiatives, or performance improvement efforts, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or human service settings
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation if travel between locations is required
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with quality improvement, process improvement, or change management methodologies
- Familiarity with behavioral health services, regulatory requirements, privacy laws, accreditation standards, or payer-related processes
- Project management certification, such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent credential
