Job Summary
Maintain a strong understanding of the contract from project onset by accurately documenting updates, logs, and changes. Establish purchasing plans through negotiation and make timely decisions during the buyout process. Support the Superintendent by posting monthly schedules and taking action to maintain or improve timelines. Create and maintain relationships with the project owner, acting on their behalf with urgency and timeliness. Facilitate meetings with the Owner, Architect, and Contractor by generating agendas and minutes. Submit owner pay applications correctly and timely while maintaining open communication with subcontractors. Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders, ensuring conformity with contract documents and scope of work. Address issues of underperformance as needed. Required Qualifications
- Refined organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks for self, team, and projects
- Strong communication skills including listening, presenting, interpersonal and written
- Advanced mathematic and reasoning ability
- Strong negotiating skills
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with a General Contractor
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably within the Construction Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with office equipment
- Experience with Internet Explorer or other similar Internet tools
