Job Summary
Project Manager for Capital Projects leading CAPEX initiatives in a biopharma/pharmaceutical setting. Responsible for defining requirements, ensuring scope/schedule/budget adherence, risk mitigation, and governance. Manages CAPEX program including cashflow forecasting, variance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Validation, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and process development. Builds and maintains relationships with client stakeholders, manages multi-track performance databases across digital/print/media projects, sources third-party resources (vendors/researchers), and assigns resources to maximize deliverables. Requires strong written/verbal communication, presentation skills, and ability to provide technical decision-making on project implementation and change controls. Supervises a team of full-time staff and contractors, ensuring onboarding, training, and staffing aligned with project needs. Minimum 8+ years in pharma/biotech project management and 5+ years of people management; PMP and LEAN/Six Sigma certifications preferred. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, or biochemical engineering discipline and 8+ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field equivalent required and 5+ years management experience.
