Job Summary
Oversee construction project management in the Charlotte, NC market. Lead project planning and scheduling, including reviewing contracts and estimates, developing site logistics and phasing, and creating/maintaining CPM schedules. Manage submittals, RFIs, and long-lead items; coordinate with A/E, subcontractors, clients, and municipal/regulatory authorities; and drive change management through PCOs. Monitor budgets, conduct detailed takeoffs, forecast costs, and prepare monthly pay apps. Facilitate OAC meetings; ensure procurement aligns with schedule; address field issues and ensure quality and safety standards. Compile and submit all necessary project closeout documents. Able to lead staff and subcontractor teams, interface with clients, and build strong relationships with project participants. Compensation varies with experience and includes a competitive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of increasing management responsibility
- Experience in multifamily projects and/or commercial builds in excess of $20M
- Ability to lead streamlined teams of staff and subcontractors
- Interfacing with clients
- Coordinating with municipal and regulatory authorities
- Building relationships with key participants
- Project planning, scheduling, and CPM competence
- Submittal registry management and adherence to project timelines
- Management of RFIs, Change Orders (PCOs), and related documentation
- Facilitation of Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings
- Budget oversight, cost coding, and monthly pay apps
- Quality control and safety program oversight
- Closeout documentation preparation
