Job Summary
Plan, budget, and execute multiple projects supporting an Intelligence Community portfolio while interacting with contract managers and finance personnel. Apply best practices in bid process management and collaborate with program office and engineering leadership to scope work, assign resources, and remove roadblocks. Maintain project management best business practices aligned to CACI policy, support new resource management tools, and lead project team meetings to track action items. Analyze cost, labor, and materials to adjust plans and stay on budget, while identifying risks and supporting mitigation. Prepare weekly and monthly reports and interface with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- Hold (BA/BS) degree
- Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience
- equivalent in work experience
- Minimum Secret clearance required to start
- ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to manage small to mid-size projects
- Understanding of the project management lifecycle
- Experience managing projects, budget, scope of work and schedule
- Knowledge of Microsoft software applications
- other software applications as required
- Ability to travel to support team or customer meetings
- approximately twice per year
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification
- An active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience using project management tools or applications such as Smartsheet/Resource Management
- Prior application of (or training in) Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Experience developing responses for RFP/RFQ/Task Statement of Work
- Demonstrated knowledge of defense contracting, accounting, and cost management practices
- Ability to create, brief, and present data that influences change
- Familiar with US DoD
