Project Manager - Business Process

Job Summary
Map, document, and analyse current-state processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks. Design and validate future-state processes with subject-matter experts and operational stakeholders while building data-driven business cases to prioritise initiatives. Plan and manage improvement initiatives end-to-end, covering scope, schedule, resourcing, budget, and risk. Maintain key project artefacts including charters, plans, status reports, and decision records. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage interdependencies across the change portfolio, and report clearly to sponsors and senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes. Build engagement and communication plans to support adoption of change, partner with training teams for operational readiness, and track benefits realisation post-implementation. Report to the Country Manager - Australia. This role supports Smokeball's core SaaS platform as the company scales.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience across both process improvement and project/programme delivery
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Strong working knowledge of project management frameworks — PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart or similar) and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight and compelling business cases
