Job Summary
Project Manager / Business Analyst (Insurance) responsible for owning the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through delivery and closure; engage with business stakeholders to elicit and define requirements; manage multiple projects (3–4 small initiatives or one major program); handle stakeholder management across all levels including executive leadership; prepare and deliver project updates and executive presentations; manage timelines, risks, issues, and change requests; act as the bridge between business teams and IT delivery; operates in a high-ownership environment with combined PM/BA responsibilities; balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; interact with senior stakeholders and challenge decisions as needed; manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience combining Project Management and Business Analysis
- Experience in IT / technology-driven projects
- Strong insurance industry background
- Ability to understand and challenge business requirements
- Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills at the executive level
- Highly organized, structured, and results-oriented
- Comfortable challenging and pushing back on senior stakeholders
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal
