Job Summary
Project Manager for the Building Science and Sustainability team in Victoria. Lead and deliver a range of building science initiatives including property and building envelope condition assessments, restoration design, and on-site inspections. Oversee projects from initiation to completion, coordinate resources, and collaborate with junior staff and clients. Responsibilities include performing PCAs and BECAs site investigations, authoring assessment reports, designing envelope restoration and new construction, scheduling site visits, reviewing construction progress and quality, data analysis for regulatory compliance, coordinating permits, supervising subcontractors, and contributing to business development and client engagement. Requires a degree or diploma in a related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of building envelope assemblies, teamwork, financial management, and client interaction. Role reports to Operations Manager and offers potential for long-term growth within Pinchin's Building Science and Sustainability group in Victoria.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in a related discipline required
- 5 or more years of relevant experience with PCAs / BECAs and restoration design
- Thorough knowledge of the construction and performance of various building envelope assemblies and building science concepts
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management
- Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
