Job Summary

Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources while directing professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects. Coordinate subcontractors and field personnel, interpret data to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and manage project invoicing and cash flow. Develop comprehensive conceptual site models and articulate technical recommendations to clients and regulatory agencies, applying knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, 8+ years in environmental consulting, and 5+ years on federal projects. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field
  • Client management experience
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting
  • 5+ years of experience on federal projects
  • 5+ years of experience in Military Munitions Response project or task management
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
  • Ability to recommend approaches for new and improved processes
  • 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper Training and current 8-hour refresher
  • Experience interacting with Federal agency Program Project Officers, Contracting Officers, Remedial Project Managers, and technical staff
  • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Professional licensure (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer)
  • Must have acceptable background check results
  • Must obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations (if applicable to the contract)
  • Ability to maneuver around work sites
  • Ability to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients
  • Ability to maintain physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather
  • Ability to walk over rough and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection
  • Ability to maintain a constant state of mental alertness

Desired Qualifications

  • Other OSHA training (30 hour construction) is valued
  • Experience interacting with Federal agency Program Project Officers, Contracting Officers, Remedial Project Managers, and technical staff
