Job Summary
Manage staff and subcontractors on assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring execution is on time, within scope, and on budget. Take responsibility for health and safety, including RAMS completion, while creating and controlling project documentation and expenditure within monthly reporting structures. Liaise closely with clients and stakeholders, proactively managing environmental impact and navigating challenges across water, power, energy, and aggregates sectors. Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid arrangements in Swansea and regular travel for site reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Proven project management experience in an industrial M&E / MEICA environment
- Experience in managing Engineering projects ideally within the water industry (water and/or wastewater process projects)
- Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies
- Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and company-specific procedures
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with NEC suite of contracts
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a technical/trade discipline
- Valid SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely certification
