Job Summary
Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers and oversee all aspects of Bridge Design, managing projects to meet agreed-upon budgets and schedules. Make public presentations, perform quality control reviews, and develop or review engineering studies including data collection, models, plans, and estimates. Work with state or municipal clients on Bridge infrastructure projects, serve as the Bridge Discipline lead on pursuits, and assist with proposal preparation to secure new work. Mentor emerging talent and represent the firm at industry events. Requires a Professional Engineer license, 10+ years of progressive Bridge engineering experience, and DOT project experience. Competitive hourly rate of $55-$85.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer license required with the ability to apply for comity in other states
- 10+ years of progressive Bridge engineering analysis, design, and project management experience
- Project experience with DOT required
- Ability to be a self-starter and work in a dynamic environment
- Public presentation experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent track record of financial success, delivering projects on time and on budget
- Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to foster business development relationships
- Strong business development skills and experience are a plus
- Experience obtaining Federal, State, and local regulatory approvals and permits
