Job Summary
Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives in aviation maintenance and aircraft completions. Drive Lean Six Sigma-based programs, develop project charters and implementation plans, facilitate Kaizen and process-mapping events, and monitor KPIs such as labor efficiency and throughput. Apply FAA Part 145 knowledge to improvement efforts, partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Administrative teams, and optimize ERP-driven processes. Produce executive-level updates, business cases, and SOPs; support change management, training, and adoption. Travel up to 25% for multi-site activities and maintain strong relationships with frontline personnel and executive stakeholders. Require a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of PM experience, with aviation MRO exposure and Lean Six Sigma expertise; preferred certifications include PMP and Lean Six Sigma belts; FAA A&P license and familiarity with FAA regulations are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation MRO, airline operations, aerospace manufacturing, or related aviation environments
- Demonstrated experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, or structured continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience utilizing project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools
- Experience working with ERP systems and operational data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% between company facilities
