Job Summary
Manage overall financial health of projects, including developing and maintaining financial and equipment projections. Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phases for major subs, oversee budget and selections of trade partners, and handle billings, contract management, and change orders. Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, allocate project estimates into financial systems, and provide monthly owner billings to accounting. Mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, approve timecards, and provide feedback. This rotational role requires travel to Eagle Mountain, UT, Los Lunas, MN, and future sites for weeks at a time. Base pay ranges from $113,500 to $170,300. BLUvera, a Mortenson affiliate, provides innovative building solutions that industrialize the construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum six years of related previous experience
- Proven ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current driver's license
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following: commercial construction, renewable energy project development, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies
